This welcoming family owned and operated restaurant has become a local favorite. The Catfish House provides guest with a relaxing southern dining experience seven days a week at 1461 Zinc Plant Rd., Clarksville, Tennessee.  Famous for their catfish and seafood, they welcome guests with a free bowl of fried okra. When you’re thinking catfish, stop by The Catfish House Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Friday- Saturday 4p.m. – 9p.m. or Sunday 11:30 a.m. – 8p.m.

Johnny’s Big Burger has been serving up Clarksville’s best made-to-order burgers and fries since 1965. Clarksville natives and out-of-towners can find this burger join at 428 College St. in Clarksville, Tennessee.  Johnny’s Big Burger menu features real-meat burgers that will have your mouthwatering for another. If you have a sweet tooth, nothing compares to Johnny’s honey bun with ice cream.

If you’re looking for a good home cooked meal, Moss’s Southern Cooking is the place to go in Clarksville.  Moss’s serves meat and three home-style plated lunches, soups and cornbread sticks Monday – Friday 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. until 2pm. This southern dining experience is located at the corner of Clearview and Memorial at 253 Clearview Drive, Clarksville, Tennessee.

5.  Excell Market and BBQ

Located at 3102 Ashland City Rd, Clarksville, Tennessee, Excell Market and BBQ ’s slogan is “Best BBQ in Town.” Doubling as a country gas station, Excell Market and BBQ serves fresh BBQ daily with a vinegar-based sauce that brings out the flavor of the meat and lunch plates with a meat and your choice of 2 sides.  Stop by Excell Market and BBQ Monday through Saturday from 5:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.
